Since Thanksgiving is not a holiday in Spanish-speaking countries they of course give it a really really long Spanish name, "El Día de Accíon de Gracias." Thanksgiving is Tabitha's favorite holiday and we were not going to let it slip by without having a proper celebration.
The challenge with having a proper Thanksgiving in a country that doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving (or regularly eat turkey) is finding a turkey. The week before the big feast, which we celebrated on Saturday, we went to the market...

and had to ask (en español) to get a turkey for the following week. (Necisito un pavo para proxima sabado). Also, turkeys in Spain are much smaller than turkeys in the US. We were first asked how big of a turkey we wanted: 3 kilos? That is a 6.5 lb turkey?!?! We finaly got a 4.5 kilo (10 lb) bird.
On the day we made delicious homemade stuffing and stuffed and cooked the turkey.

We invited people from the lab to join in our celebration and eat our delicious turkey, the first Thanksgiving for everyone else involved, including people from Spain, Germany, and Mexico.

Finally, Max attacked Dave until he got a little bit of turkey too.
